Counting Skeletons is known for their lively and energetic shows, featuring cover tunes of the ‘80s – with a selection of other well-known songs.

Super Moon furthers the band’s range with original music to showcase their songwriting and performance talents.

This independent release features the work of several talented production professionals. Drums were recorded at Audio Grotto Studio in Newport, Kentucky. Drum tracks were engineered by Matt
Hueneman of Cattle Dog Productions (John Legend, Sarah McLachlan, Ludacris, Nick Lachey, The Bears, Rob Fetters, psychodots).

Production continued with all instruments and vocals recorded at Bourbon Studios in Springboro, Ohio. Eric Wilms of Different Strings Productions engineered and mastered the final phases of the project.

A small choir of high school students from Waynesville, Ohio is included on the song “The Long Year /Song for the Graduate.” It is inspired by Eric Wilms’ thoughts on the pending high school graduation of his own teenage daughters.

The song “Clouds (Davey’s Song)” is a tribute to Rich Palmer’s brother who passed away in Summer 2014. Though challenged with special needs, Davey was able to show others the simple joys of living.
